About This Event

  1. Participation: Solo Event.
  2. Duration: Up to 10 minutes.
  3. The medium of expression shall be English or Kannada.
  4. Topic will be given on spot along with stance, with appropriate time to prepare.
  5. The debate will follow the British-Parliamentary system; however, the team system will not be followed as it is a solo event.
  6. The points used to defend your stance should be factual and not made-up.
  7. Reading from paper or any other source is strictly prohibited.
  8. Use of derogatory words, suggestive speech, or crude gestures is strictly prohibited.
