About This Event

  1. Participation: Solo Event.
  2. Duration: Up to 5 minutes.
  3. The medium of expression shall be English or Kannada.
  4. The participant may present prose, poetry, or a mixture of both.
  5. Singing is strictly prohibited.
  6. The subject of the elocution will be communicated an evening prior to the competition.
  7. Reading from paper or any other source is strictly prohibited.
  8. Plagiarism (does not include quoting others) and use of AI to form your speech or poetry is strictly prohibited.
  9. Profanity, suggestive speech, euphemisms, and vulgarity in action or speech is strictly prohibited. Satire and humor that is devoid of the above is accepted.
