About This Event

  1. Weight categories for men: 62 kg, 70 kg, 78 kg, 90 kg, 90+ kg.
  2. Weight categories for women: 52 kg, 60 kg, 68 kg, 76 kg, 76+ kg.
  3. Lifters will compete only in their respective bodyweight category.
  4. Barbell must be lifted from floor to full lockout position.
  5. Knees, hips, and shoulders must be fully extended at the top.
  6. Lift must be completed in one continuous motion (no jerking).
  7. Hitching or resting the bar on thighs is not allowed.
  8. Each lifter is allowed 3 attempts.
  9. Best successful lift will be considered for ranking.
  10. Each category winner will receive Medals and Certificates.
  11. Lifters must wait for the referee's down signal before lowering the bar.
  12. Referee's decision is final.
